Tell us about life before oogur

Life before oogur was painful. Every week, I would spend ~30 minutes manually creating links using Google’s Campaign URL Builder and pulling them into a spreadsheet for tracking purposes.

 

Because each HERstory has valuable insights from a senior tech marketer, I strive to get it in front of as many eyes as possible. That means promoting the story across our social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram), in relevant online communities (Quora, Reddit, GrowthHackers, Inbound.org, and TechLadies, plus private Slack and Facebook communities), and via popular syndication channels (Quuu, Zest) in addition to publishing it on our blog and in our weekly newsletter.

 

In order to track and compare the relative success of each traffic source, I had to create a separate link with UTM parameters for each—a process that stole ~30 minutes from my life every single week. That’s 25+ hours per year that I could have spent helping the women in my community.

How has oogur transformed your processes?

Now that I’m using oogur, the same process takes me just 5 minutes. In other words, I spend 83% less time creating and tracking URLs.

 

The biggest reason for this time savings it that oogur enables me to quickly create multiple URLs at once.

 

All I have to do is select multiple sources (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram) for a single medium (e.g., social) and, in the click of a button, I’m good to go. It’s really that simple.
